My Friends

School is OK, but if it weren't for my friends, I would be bored all the time. People at my old school were just so boring~! I don't even keep up with people from my old school anymore, although this one person who used to be my friend keeps calling me to rant about our English teacher, and how much she hates English in general (and we're in English Honors, too...T_T'''').

Anyway, I made up some weird nicknames about my friends, which I will never use anywhere but here. So yeah...

Rei: Hmmm...the name "Rei", by the way, has nothing to do with Evangelion. I highly doubt she knows what Evangelion is. (lol)

Rei is "anti-Eragon". She hates Eragon and Christopher Paolini. Her msn comment once was "Paolini is a genie-ass". This is how we became friends actually. We were in a group for an English project, and she told me about "anti Eragon" -ism, and I was like "How interesting" so we're friends now ^_^. We both like fanfiction and both search Wikipedia all day long. She was surprised that I knew what a Mary Sue was. (lol)

She also plays violin (but hates it) and has heart problems. She never specifies anymore that that though. Rei is also a good artist, dislikes it when people touch her, and ocasionally makes cat-like noises (someone in our P.E class calls her "kitty kitty". Stand clear when this occurs, otherwise you will get hit). Rei is also really good at math, and is right about a lot of things, like Eragon sucking (it does!) and about how gold makes bad weapons in Final Fantasy. Rei once said, "I want a DS. But I want a lot of other things as well. *laugh*"

Berry-chan: If Berry-chan ever heard me call her this in real life, she would be like "wtf?! O_o". lol.
Berry-chan is the most reasonable and responsible of all of us. She also remembers more chinese characters than Rei. ^.^ She is also good at cooking. Berry-chan is also a casual Naruto fan. She's Grade 8 (or something) in Piano but her teacher says her playing lacks "emotion". I can relate...-_-''

We first became friends in October (?) 2006. We met in Home Ec at first, and we always (and still do) eat lunch together. She calls me "Sea Cucumber", because when she asked me what animal I thought I was like, I said "Sea Cucumber". Everyone was like "WTF?!" DN didn't know what a Sea Cucumber was at first, untill Pyon told her. Then DN laughed.

Pyon: Pyon is in my homeroom. When I first saw her I thought she was scary, because of her expression. Now we're good friends ^_^. I draw in her sketchbook, and she draws in mine. My drawings look like crap compared to hers. But oh well. In her sketchbook (when I draw in it), by my drawings, I always put, "Signed, Yuki N." by it, and "^.^"s by drawings that I like and "^//////^"s by drawings that I really like. Pyon has only 3 "^/////^"s. Pyon and I unite when Berry-chan and Rei lord their SS Honors status over us.

Pyon and I became friends in November/December (?) 2006, but Pyon didn't start eating luch with us until around mid-December.

DN: DN is another friend of mine. We have an understanding and unite, because Pyon, Berry-chan, and Rei are in more advanced courses than us. Actually, I don't know that much about DN...;_;. But DN is an nice person, and brings Korean sushi and shares it with us (although I never ask for anything, I don't like Sushi).

DN is also a decent Korean-English translator. There are these Grade 10 ish girls that sit across the hall from us where we eat lunch, and they talk in Korean a lot. To make things easier, I'll put things in scriptfic:

Pyon: Can you understand them?
DN: Yeah...
Me+Pyon: What are they saying??
DN: They're talking about a comic...>.> *is annoyed at girls across the hall*
Me+Pyon: What comic?
DN: I only know the Korean name...
Berry-chan: What is it?
DN: Conan...(she's referring to Detective Conan, or Case Closed)
Me+Berry-chan: OHHHHHHH!! *we are also pointing at DN for no discernable reason*
DN: Exactly! I read Conan when I was in KINDERGARTEN and they're still talking about it in Grade 10...
Berry-chan: lol

DN, coincidentally, also likes Death Note, and thinks Light is cute, and L is weird. She can do a good L imitation as well ^__^.

So yeah, those are the people that I hang out with every day. School life is never boring with them around, and I'm greatful. Many thankful feelings, from the bottom of my heart! ^^
